Las Vegas Shopping

Shopping in Vegas is an exhilarating experience after playing a few hands of poker or fiddling with the lever of slot machines. You will always come across something new in this city. Shopping will not only rejuvenate you, it will also give you the opportunity to visit its trendy shops, malls and local markets. A long weekend is all that you need to discover its markets. The success of this city lies in the way it reinvents itself year after year to draw tourists repeatedly. Whenever you visit Vegas, you will always find something new to astonish you even if you return regularly. I realized it when I visited The Palms ' stylish Ghost Bar. This 55 stories structure, standing tall above the Strip, will amaze you with its Plexiglass floor that provides a magnificent and awe inspiring view of the ground far below. The Palms and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino have been built specially to attract the younger generation. Earlier, high profile stars like Frank Sinatra and Liberace were engaged to attract the crowd to this city.

Vegas offers everything from haute couture to clothes for normal, everyday dressing. You will find innumerable shopping choices, ranging from the ‘everything under one roof' concept of the traditional mall to the good bargains at various factory outlets. The shopping experience in the specialty stores that offer everything from the trendiest to the most daring is quite unique. Clothing, shoes, jewelry, art, antiques, electronics, furniture, collectibles, memorabilia, western wear; just ask for anything and you will get it here. The same is true in the case of big brand names like Burberry, Neiman Marcus, Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc. It is not lagging behind any of the leading fashion cities of the world like New York , Los Angeles or Paris in any respect. But, if you are looking for quaint, clever, unique stores, you'll have to drive some blocks off the Strip. The best shopping area for budget conscious tourists is the Belz Factory Outlet. You can get some good bargains there.
